Lumens Dermatology, led by Board Certified Dermatologist Dr. Michael J. Freeman is a dermatologist at Michael J. Freeman, MD, PA, where he serves patients in Ocala, Florida, and The Villages, Florida, areas. Dr. Freeman offers many types of skin care and skin treatments, including psoriasis, eczema, melanoma, and acne treatment. Dr. Freeman's goal is to ensure that patients feel welcome and comfortable whenever they visit. He's proud of the community atmosphere at the practice because it helps patients feel like they're one of the family.

Dr. Freeman earned both bachelor's and master's degrees at Arizona State University. He then went on to earn his medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Freeman was a fellow in dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic, where he was a member of the American Academy of Dermatology Task Force for developing a biomedical computer system for dermatology. Dr. Freeman is considered the “Dean of Dermatology” in Ocala. He’s a founding member of the Gainesville Dermatology Society, as well.
